Reading Week fun continues with Hat and Stripes Day on Thursday, March 6, 2025.


March Hobby Night is March 13, 2025 at the Wirt County Primary Center at 6 pm. Hobby Nights are sponsored by Project Aware and the Coplin Clinics.

Welcome to another Tea Time Tuesday. We are happy to help you get to know a little bit more about another one of our wonderful staff members, Melissa Speece. Please feel free to share some thumbs and hearts on Facebook for her.


Reading Week is nonstop with Wacky Wednesday!. This is the day to have your child look as ridiculous as he/she wants. Let's see how silly everyone can be on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.


Reading Week continues on Tuesday with Green Eggs & Ham Day. Have your child join in the by wearing GREEN to school on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, to celebrate the day.


Monday, March 3, 2025, starts our annual Reading Week. Be sure and send your children to school in their pajamas for our Bedtime Stories' Day.


The Wellness Center is closed today, Friday, February 28, 2025.

Spring Picture Day is tomorrow at the primary center. Students should have brought home a picture order form. We have extras at the school.

Time for the Tea on Tuesday! Megan Jones is our next staff member to be highlighted. She is one of the students' favorites, since she teaches Physical Education. Please share some thumbs and hearts on Facebook for this fabulous teacher!


📚🎉 Get Ready to Celebrate Read Across America Week! 🎉📚
We are thrilled to announce that Read Across America Week is just around the corner, from March 3rd to 7th! This is a special time to celebrate the joy of reading and ignite a love for books in our students. To make the week even more exciting, we have planned themed dress-up days for each day of the week. We can't wait to see everyone get creative and join in the fun!
Here's the lineup for our themed days:
Monday, March 3: Bed Time Story Day - Wear pajamas to school.
Tuesday, March 4: Green Eggs & Ham Day - Wear green.
Wednesday, March 5: Wacky Wednesday - Wear your wackiest outfit!
Thursday, March 6: Cat in the Hat Day - Wear your favorite hat and/or stripes.
Friday, March 7: Fox in Sox Day - Wear your craziest socks!
We encourage everyone to participate and make Read Across America Week an unforgettable event. We can't wait to see the creativity and enthusiasm our students bring to each themed day.

Time: 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Pick-Up Time: All students must be picked up promptly at 4:40 pm.
