We are wrapping up our Pants-a-thon this week and could use more donations! Wirt County Middle School and Wirt County Primary Center both depend on donations from our staff and community for our clothing closets. As you are out shopping and find items on sale, we are very low on bottoms for both boys and girls. We are looking for donations of new bottoms - pants, shorts, sweats, and especially leggings for our girls! If you are so inclined to donate, please send donations to WCMS or WCPC. We will make sure the other school gets the sizes appropriate for them if you send them in with your child! We do ask that the items are new so that we can safely put them in our closet for students to use. As always, we appreciate your help in taking care of our student needs!
Tomorrow is our 5th and 6th grade bowling trip reward. Here are a few reminders!
◼️ Students should dress comfortably to go bowling and following all school dress code rules.
◼️Students will have the opportunity to shop at Dollar Tree for about 45 minutes. They do not have to go to Dollar Tree. If they don't want to shop, they will be able to stay at the bowling alley.
◼️School lunch is being provided for every student. They will have the option to purchase additional refreshments from the concession stand at the bowling alley.
◼️Students will be permitted to bring their cell phones on the trip. We have reviewed expectations with students regarding cell phone usage on the trip and will remind them tomorrow before they leave.
◼️If you plan to sign out your student from the bowling alley please do so between 12:30 - 12:45 p.m. You must see one of the school staff members and sign out your child with them.
◼️ The trip will return to school at approximately 1:45 p.m. The staff are hosting a fun student engagement activity in the afternoon for all students!
