Wirt County Schools will be participating in the Spring WV School Learning Environment Survey Program. The purpose of the survey is to gain input from students about their schools. The feedback will be used to help make improvements to ensure schools provide a positive and supportive place for students to learn. Only students who have been given permission by their parents will be permitted to take the survey. Primary Center parents and guardians were given information about the survey at school Christmas parties and consent forms were sent home in December of 2022.
The survey will be administered online in your child's classroom in late February or early March. The survey usually takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete and has been designed to protect your child’s privacy. Students will not put their names on the survey. Students will only be asked to enter a school code, their age, gender and grade.
The results of this survey will be used to make changes to ensure a positive environment for learning. The survey is voluntary. No action will be taken against the school, you, or your child if your child does not take part. Students may skip any questions they do not wish to answer. Students may also stop participating in the survey at any point without penalty. You may contact your child’s school if you have questions.
