Graduating Class of 2024 - See important information below regarding Financial Aid.
Congratulations to your seniors on their graduation, and thank you for all you have done for them. We realize it’s the end of the year and most seniors have wrapped up their semester, but we have some exciting and important news to share with them, if you have a chance to be in touch with them once more. Thanks to Governor Justice and the Legislature, we have been provided additional funding for the Higher Education Grant Program this year – enough funding to DOUBLE the maximum award amount from $3,400 to $6,800 for the 2024-25 academic year only.
So, what do your graduates need to do at this time? If they haven’t been able to complete their FAFSA yet, we encourage them to do so and work with us if they’re having challenges. Our financial aid hotline is 877-987-7664.
But, regardless of whether students have been able to complete their FAFSA, we anticipate being able to provide these increased awards after June 7, 2024.
This has been an incredibly challenging year given challenges with the new FAFSA, and we sincerely appreciate all your hard work and hope this additional funding will help more of your seniors continue their education this fall. Please share this information with them and their families if you have the opportunity to do so.
