Project AWARE and Coplin Health Systems have announced their next hobby night for youth and families. On November 16th from 6 - 7:30 p.m., join us at WCPC to make pottery ornaments. Participants will make a clay ornament and prepare it for being kilned. Ornaments will be available at the board office when completed. Pumpkins fall, leaves descend, and the crisp autumn air fills the air. It's time for Wirt County High School's Second Annual Pumpkin Drop Contest! Throughout the month of October, students will collaborate in their Developmental Guidance classes to design and construct pumpkin drop containers that can survive a plummeting descent from the third story of our building. On October 27th at 2:30 p.m., we invite all parents and guardians to join us for this event. Watch in awe as pumpkins and their protective contraptions plummet through the air! Picture Retakes and Club Pictures are scheduled for tomorrow -Monday, October 2. 8:30 am- Picture Retakes in the auditorium—any student who did not get their picture taken or was not satisfied with his/her picture may come down when the announcement is made. 9:30 am (approx.)- Begin Club Pictures on senior steps, weather permitting.
