Our Intro to STEM students and a few of Ms. Lemley's simulated workplace students traveled to Discovery World on Market today for an AMAZING experience in their Makerspace. Students learned how to design objects in Adobe Illustrator and then cut and engrave using a laser cutter. Students also participated in a fun STEM challenge where they constructed a bow and arrow out of popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and straws. Thank you, Discovery World, for having us today!

Students can bring in items for both collections all month! If you are joining us for an event over the next few weeks and would like to donate stocking stuffer items or canned goods, please drop them off by the giving tree in the commons area.
