Introduction:
Wirt County High School has determined a need for improvement in the area of transition activities for students with special needs for transition planning and job placement. They have identified a need for a work-based learning system to be implemented for school year 2025-2026 to be date certain September 30, 2025.
Scope of the Project:
Proposal shall include:
1 day of on-site training on the work-based learning system
1 day set up of the system
Work Based Learning System to include: simulated work-place units; assessment component to support transition goal setting; storage and materials
The location of the services will be at Wirt County High School
No travel expenses shall be reimbursable.
Submittal Information and Deadline:
Proposals shall be submitted by April 30, 2025 at 4:00 pm EST to Carla Brown at crtaylor@k12.wv.us .
Awards will be made in the best interest of the LEA. The LEA may accept or reject in part, or in whole, any proposal. Vendors must be registered with West Virginia Secretary of State Office, West Virginia Department of Taxation, and accept Purchase Orders. Vendor must agree to all purchasing policies and procedures for local educational agencies of West Virginia.
